9 Ardmay Crescent

Homeowners Justin and Elisha Funk, welcome to 9 Ardmay Crescent – situated close to the downtown core, but far enough away that the homes are from a more traditional time. As of May 2020, they had owned this property for 5 years. This home has been a part of the history within Guelph; with an heir to the Raymond Sewing Factory resided here. The foyer still boasts one of these unique sewing machines in the foyer sitting atop lovely hardwood installed by Sarmazian Brothers Flooring.

Justin and Elisha have been able to blend their own family traditions and still retain the history of their home. They love showing off the unique architectural features as well as a fireplace.

They still are able to add their own family flair and enjoy the homey feelings that the holidays invoke. You can often hear them playing Bing Crosby classics as well as the Big Band songs from the 1940s. You can actually imagine that this home at Christmas time could have been featured in any of the 1940’s films. Their favourite holiday traditions include spending time with their family, and watching some of the classic Christmas movies, Christmas Vacation, The Christmas Story, and Home Alone.
