The Suthern Family welcomes you to 44 Short Street! – Often referred to as the Church House. They purchased this home in 2012, and the home itself is over 100 years old and was at one time a church. Outdoor renovations (pool, landscaping etc.) were completed in 2014 and interior work, including stunning granite countertops from Graniteworx, followed in 2019. The Guelph Arts Council featured this home in Doors Open a number of years ago.
|The Suthern’s have one very special family tradition and this is making cinnamon buns on Christmas morning, in conjunction with hanging out in pajamas. This is a rare highlight for a very busy family! Board games played as a family features highly as one of their favourite Christmas activities. They have memories of Christmas Sing-Along at St. Georges church and in particular Silent Night sung by candlelight. You can guarantee that over the holidays they will be watching the original animated “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Elf’”.|
